ADORABLE! Love them. Agreed, there is too much frosting but half is not enough. I probably need to 3/4 that bad boy next time.

I have been looking for this recipe for years. I am a grandmother now and want to make them with and for my grandchildren because when my daughters were little we made these and they were both beautiful and delicious. I lost the receipe and have been looking for it. It looks like the same one. I can’t wait to make them again. When I made them they called for jelly beans on top but I love your idea of the chocolate covered almonds. Thank you for your post.
