Lego Party: Invitations

lego party invitations

This week is all about Max’s outdoor Lego Party! Today I’m sharing the invitations. Later in the week I’ll be sharing the cake, decorations, games and goody bags. Stay tuned!

I am not a crafty person. Sometimes I think I would like to be and then I realize I don’t have the patience for it. So, I take advantage of those who are crafty and get them to do the work for me. ;) These cute invitations were created by my sister-in-law, Brandy. She makes and sells party invitations and supplies and is the epitome of craftiness.

I got so many compliments on these invitations. Everyone commented on how cute they were. I think a handcrafted touch is always appreciated. Although, I did quickly throw it out there that I did not make them myself, less I appear to be super mom (although really, I don’t think I have to worry about that, haha). Food is what I’m good at and I leave the rest to those with the talents for them.

The invitation slides out of the lego pocket to reveal all the party details. I wrote extra information, for those who needed, on the coloured paper behind the invitation. It was not visible until the invitation was pulled out.

The invitation usually says “Come Build Some Fun” but we changed it to “Everything is Awesome!” because we weren’t planning on building with Lego at the party and Max chose the theme song of the Lego Movie as his party theme. We absolutely loved how they turned out.

The set also comes with a party banner and cupcakes wrappers. I will be sharing a pic of the banner and what we did with it later in the week, in the decorations post!

If you’re interested in getting these invitations for yourself you can purchase them from my sis-in-law Brandy at Little Miss B Designs and Supplies. Even if you’re not interested in a Lego party make sure to take a look around. She has a lot of  adorable themes for sale and is great at customizing them to suit your party!
