Family Friendly Sangria

One of my favourite parts of special events is coming up with a fun drink to accompany the meal. I would totally bypass dessert if there’s a fancy drink to be had. In the winter it’s warm flavoured coffee, tea and hot chocolate, in the summer it’s fruity and refreshing, cooling beverages.

My kids feel a little left out sometimes because they don’t get to try all the fancy adult drinks. But now they can with this family friendly white sangria. It’s basically a glorified punch, but my kids absolutely loved having this fancy, fizzy drink to sip on when we had company over the other day, and it made them feel very special.

This is a perfect party drink because the juice and fruit gets mixed together the night before and all that’s left to do on the day of is to add some sparkling water to finish. If you plan on making this for an Easter picnic simply transport them separately and top it off at the destination. If making it for a crowd double, triple or quadruple the recipe and mix it together in a large punch bowl.

This drink is refreshing and fruity, and not to mention a little extra filling with all that delicious fruit to nibble on. I say, bring on the summer beverages!
